September 20, 2013: Received an awesome gift. It was presented to me from Brandon Thompson's unit, who was over in Afghanistan. It is a flag flown in Afghanistan in my honor with a certificate signed by his commanding officer, with a unit patch. I feel so blessed.
The unit sent a thank you note back on a bedsheet, which was made into a quilt.
Gifts from deployed military.
